Behaves like zini — porous and rounding — but reads warmer in the hand and under tea light.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe form.\u003c\/strong\u003e The Han Jiang form (汉君) dates to the Qing dynasty. A flattened, broad-shouldered body descended from the Han-form family, with a stepped lid. Wide and calm, with strong horizontal lines.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow it was made.\u003c\/strong\u003e Built entirely by hand — the wall is beaten out from a slab and joined without a mould. Inside the body you can still read the tool marks and the joint line, which is how the method is verified.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSize and tea.\u003c\/strong\u003e At 170 ml this fills three or four cups at once — enough for guests without moving to a full teapot.
