Modelled on a Qin-dynasty weight — the standard that came with the unification of measures. A weight is an instrument of fairness, and the form carries that idea. Solid and low-centred, with a high arched handle. Long favoured by literati for what it stands for.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow it was made.\u003c\/strong\u003e Formed with the help of a mould for the body, with the spout, handle, lid and finishing worked by hand.
