High iron, uncommon, and heavier in tone than standard zhuni. Concentrates aroma like zhuni but reads darker and more sober in the hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe form.\u003c\/strong\u003e The Fanggu form (仿古) dates to the Qing dynasty, attributed to Shao Daheng. Originally 'imitating a drum' — flat-bodied and round-bellied with a tightly seated lid. The name drifted over time into 'imitating antiquity'. Full, plain and durable.
